The map below will give you an idea where the holiday accommodation is on the Island click on the name on the map to give more detail about the accommodation.

The Department of Parks, Wildlife and Heritage has picnic facilities and camping areas at Trousers Point, Allports Beach, Lillies Beach and North East River on Flinders Island, where there are toilets and fireplaces. There is limited water at Trousers Point only. Camping is also permitted on crown reserves and this covers most of the Flinders Island foreshore as well as sections of the foreshore on Cape Barren Island. Permission must be obtained from the ranger to camp on the outer islands.
At Patriarchs Wildlife Sanctuary there is hut accommodation and water. You will need to be self-sufficient with food and bedding. To arrange for use of the hut, inquiries should be made to the Honorary Warden of the Patriarch Wildlife Trust in Whitemark.
There is also camping, barbeque facilities and toilets available at the Lady Barron tennis courts. Showering and washing facilities are also available at Lady Barron.
Drinking water is non-existent on most of the islands and very scarce where it is available. It must be carried from the townships. Campers are asked to take care not to pollute any streams and to be cautious with what they drink. Most streams flow through grazing lands and are polluted by farm animals. If in doubt boil water for 3 full minutes. Visitors are advised to seek out information on water from local authorities before beginning extensive trips. Likewise visitors are asked to take care with fire. By preference fuel stoves should be carried and used. In summer seek out fire restrictions from the local ranger. Keep any fires to a minimum using only dead and fallen wood. Always ensure that your fire is stone cold out before leaving it.
There are a lot more camping places around the island so keep an eye on this site for constant up dates to the site. A feature of this site will be camping site of the month that will go to a more in depth description of the things to do around this camping spot.
